History AS Level at Saffron Walden County High School

Course description

History challenges students to analyse the cause and consequences of significant
historical events and developments over time. It also assesses a student’s ability to
evaluate primary source material and claims made by historians. The new A-Level
specifications cover a wider chronological range in greater depth than before. This
is an excellent opportunity to engage far more deeply with historical
developments and debates related to the topics of study
