Business Administration Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship at New College Durham

Course description

An advanced apprenticeship is ideal for someone who has already achieved an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Level 2 and is a motivated person who has a responsible secretarial/administrative role.

Course content

Apprenticeships (often referred to as Framework) are a mixture of work based learning and education, which includes the following elements: - Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Business and Administration - Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (which is often referred to as a Technical Certificate) - Functional Maths Level 2 - Functional English Level 2 The assessment process for an NVQ qualification is ongoing throughout the course. You are required to build up a portfolio of evidence, which is assessed internally and also externally verified by OCR. Assessment takes place in the workplace and in College. In addition to the NVQ qualification, you will be studying for Key Skills qualifications and Technical Certificates which are exam based.

Entry requirements

NVQ Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Business and Administration or completed an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration and be employed in a responsible secretarial/administrative role.

Future opportunities

You could progress onto the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship Business Administration.
