Technical/Professional Construction (Level 3) Diploma at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
This course will teach you the most up to date construction techniques including BIM.
You will study a range of units which may include: • building surveying • tendering and estimating • science and materials • civil engineering • design procedures
Students should have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at C or above including English and maths, OR a Level 2 Diploma in Technical / Professional Construction or equivalent and a grade C in GCSE maths and English.
Coursework is assessed through a combination of written assignments and project work.
You will need to have access to basic personal protective equipment (PPE) for approx. 3 site visits. You will also need to purchase two textbooks (approx. total cost £40), stationery and drawing equipment.
This course will prepare you for further studies at degree level or a technical Apprenticeship programme.
