Photography at The Brunts Academy

Course description

Students will be introduced to a variety of experiences exploring a range of lens and lightbased media, techniques and processes, including both traditional and new technologies.

Students will work with portraits, landscape photography (working from the built or natural environment) and/or still life photography (working from natural or manufactured objects).

The coursework and exam units follow the same assessment criteria and both allow students to develop work based on their chosen themes to maintain interest.

This is a course that evolves and where all student work contributes to their grade.

Entry requirements

AS and A2 Level Photography is for anyone who enjoyed and achieved in Photography at KS4 and is interested in developing their skills.

A student who is creative, has their own ideas, has the ability to express themselves, is able to work independently and manage their time and most importantly is interested in learning about Photography.
