A level Maths at Garforth Academy

Course description


In this course you will learn how to represent situations mathematically and develop an understanding of the relationship between ‘real world’ problems and standard mathematical problems.


Course content

Topics will be developed using a range of strategies. The effective use of both graphical and scientific calculators forms an important part of the course. You will also be encouraged to use appropriate software to develop your skills.


Entry requirements

Grade 6 in GCSE maths. Students will be subject to "bridging the gap" test in September.
