Law A Level at The Whitehaven Academy

Course description

A Level Law encourages your organisational skills, together with your ability to think independently, develop your problem-solving skills and learn how to identify legal issues and apply the relevant law to a scenario to reach a conclusion. This requires you to interpret legislation and read case law. In addition, you will gain critical evaluation skills to ensure that you can confidently express views which are substantiated with evidence.

Many students will go on to study Law at undergraduate level at university. It also provides students with skills that are transferable to the study of other subjects at university such as business related courses and accountancy.
