AQA AS Psychology

Course content

The AS course involves studying two units.

Unit 1 includes Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and Research Methods.

Unit 2 includes Biological Psychology, Social Pyschology and Individual Differences. 

Entry requirements

 

Entry requirements: A minimum of 5 A-C GCSE grades in four separate subjects.

Students should have a minimum B grade in Maths and Biology. It is advisable that students also have a minimum C in English.

AS

Students will complete two 90 minute exams.

 

 

Future opportunities

Humanities and Social Science graduate opportunities. Psychiatry. Health and Social Care Sector. Law; Education; Police; Social Services, Journalism, Human Resource Management, Advertising, Clinical Psychology.
