IT Apprenticeship Level 3 at Isle of Wight College
This course is for anyone already employed within IT Support, Programming and Networking or if you already have a good amount of work experience. The course includes both theory and practical skills which are put into practice in the workplace.
The Apprenticeship Framework in IT will give you the skills and knowledge that you will need to build a career within the IT Industry.
The Advanced Apprenticeship Framework includes the following:
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in IT Users
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Numeracy, Literacy and IT
- ERR (Employment Rights and Responsibilities)
- PLTS (Personal Learning and Thinking Skills)
C and above in Maths and English or equivalent or ability to gain Level 2 Functional Skills.
You will attend The Isle Of Wight College on a day release one day per week for your Functional Skills and to attend any exams. You will also be assessed and reviewed approx every 4-6 weeks in the workplace by a member of our team.
Once you complete this qualification you may be able to move into full time employment.
Many employers will tend to keep their Apprentices on after they complete their Apprenticeship but permanent employment is not guaranteed after learners complete their apprenticeship.
