Chemistry AS/A2 at Ilford County High School
The course is broken down into the three component parts of Chemistry: physical, inorganic and organic.
Students delve into the finer details of atomic structure and bonding before tackling the more quantitative apects of physical chemistry exploring why chemical reactions happen. Inorganic chemistry topics will look at chemical patterns in the periodic table in terms of properties and reactions, whereas organic chemistry takes pupils into a fascinating realm of chemistry which is only briefly touched upon in GCSE studies.
Grade B GCSE in Chemistry.
