Photography at The Elizabethan Academy

Course description

Course Content A practical portfolio building course in digital photography. Discovering techniques and skills to enhance digital photography. You will go on photoshoots and edit and present your own portfolio of photographic work leading to an exhibition in the summer.
2 Units at 'AS' level, including:
Unit 1 Portfolio Building, You will gain understanding of techniques and processes in digital photography.
Unit 2 Externally Set Exam, You will build a portfolio of work to answer an externally set question and sit a 5hr practical exam

2 Units at 'A2' level, including:

Unit 3 Personal Project, You will investigate a specific area of photographic interest and present this work.

Unit 4 Externally Set Exam, You will build a portfolio of work to a given question and sit a practical 15hr exam

Entry requirements

You will need at least 5 GCSEs at A* - C (including GCSE Mathematics and/or GCSE English Language). 'AS': At least grade C in a creative GCSE 'A2': At least grade D in 'AS' Photography
