Course description

Functional Skills qualifications are designed to help you develop the skills you use in everyday life, such as reading, writing, maths or ICT. They can also help you boost your CV or move on to further study. ICT skills are important in both everyday life and almost every job role. This programme will help you improve your skills to be more effective at your job. Improving essential skills such as computer skills can help you on the road to achieving your long-term goals. Our ‘Functional Skills’ programmes provide all-important opportunities for improving these skills, along with the chance to gain valuable qualifications. Qualification levels will be determined by an initial assessment process allowing the programme to be tailored to each individuals needs.

Entry requirements

Not achieved at this level or level above. Initial Assessment shows Pre Entry in Literacy and Numeracy. Learners will need an appropriate standard of Literacy and Numeracy to be able to complete the assessments
