Course description

A-level units in Year 13

Core 3: Algebra and functions; trigonometry; exponentials and logarithms; differentiation; numerical methods.

Core 4: Algebra and functions; coordinate geometry in the (x,y) plane; sequences and series; differentiation; integration; vectors. Statistics 2: The Binomial and Poisson distributions; continuous random variables; continuous distributions; samples; hypothesis tests.

Studying maths helps you develop skills in logical thinking and statistical or strategic knowledge, which are valued by employers.
