French at Bodmin College

Course description

The course is designed to enable students to understand and communicate confidently in the written and spoken forms of French / Spanish. Most of the source material studied will be contemporary. Much of the teaching will be in French, so that from the beginning students must be willing to try to express their ideas in the foreign language.

The topic areas for the AS specifications are:

Aspects of daily life sub-topics;

Leisure and entertainment sub-topics;

Communication and media sub-topics;

Education and training sub-topics.

Entry requirements

Grade B or above in GCSE French
