Course description

With the range of social, economic and environmental challenges facing us in the 21st century there has never been a better time to study Geography! Can we effectively manage out love affair with the coast? Is it possible to solve economic ills through reimaging? Are the unfair impacts of global economic development inevitable? Why are some areas of the world more at risk than others or will climate change get us all in the end? You will be able to develop your geographical skills throughout the course and in February 2015 all geography students will have the opportunity to broaden their geographical experience on a four day residential enrichment visit to Iceland.
