Creative Media Production Extended Diploma Level 3 at Bexhill College
This course is perfect if you are interested in the media industry and the creative application of ideas. This course covers the practical aspects of media production and develops research skills and theoretical knowledge in the media sectors. Students will study about film and TV production skills, including camera work and editing. They will also study presentation skills, use industry standard desktop publishing, image and animation manipulation packages.

At least 4-5 GCSEs graded 9-4 or A*- C including English or Maths at grade C/4 or above. Plus a creative and analytical interest in the media industry and C/4 or above in an Art-based subject.
Students will be assessed throughout the course through practical and written assignments. Each assignment will be given a mark of Pass, Merit or Distinction. These marks will contribute to your final grade. At the end of the two years, students will exhibit a final creative media project.
There will be the opportunity for students to attend various trips and workshops. This might entail some limited additional expense.
The course is designed so that students gain practical and professional experience that will enable them to enter employment within the moving image or digital industries, or progress onto Higher Education.
