Mathematics GCSE at Queen Mary's College
GCSE Mathematics is widely required by employers and some A Level and Higher Education courses. The syllabus we offer is of a modular format and incorporates functional skills. The emphasis is on explaining the ways in which mathematics can be used in practical everyday situations. There are three main areas of study: Statistics and Number, Number and Algebra, Geometry and Algebra.
