Level 1/2 Hospitality and Catering at Trans4m

Course description

Trans4m offer a hospitality and catering course with a difference – you get to learn  in a real food service outlet! Our course will help you develop basic food preparation skills, food hygiene and customer service in our canteen facility.

Mixing ingredients in the kitchen

For the aspiring chefs we have the chance to prepare main courses from a variety of cultures – curries, pastas, stir frys, or anything you fancy trying! For those interested in food service careers we have opportunities to help out with lunch snacks, such as sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes.

You will develop the confidence to serve staff and students and gain valuable work experience. This is an ideal route to gaining an apprenticeship, or finding employment in the catering industry.
