Spanish A-Level at Coopers School
The language is studied through a range of topics including Media, Popular Culture, Healthy Living/Lifestyle, Family and Relationships at AS Level, and the Environment, The Multicultural Society, Contemporary Social Issue and 2 cultural topics (history, literature, the French-speaking world) at A2 Level.

The course is divided into 4 units all of which draw upon language studied in the "General Topic Areas" described above.
All examinations will be taken at the end of the year.
Unit 1 (Listening, Reading and Writing) and Unit 2 (Speaking)
Unit 3 (Listening, Reading and Writing) and Unit 4 (Speaking)
GCSE English Language C or better
GCSE Spanish A or better
A language at A level is extremely important for those wishing to pursue a career or further study in the world of business, travel or tourism. It can also lead to higher education qualifications in languages, linguistics, interpreting or translating.
