Facilities Management Intermediate Apprenticeship at Weston College
Facilities management involves providing a quality and cost effective maintenance and care service for a wide range of commercial and public buildings, such as hotels, hospitals, office and shopping complexes, arenas, educational or convention centres.
Facilities Managers make sure that facilities such as security, catering and cleaning (referred to as 'soft services') and maintenance and building services (referred to as 'hard services') run smoothly, so that customers can run their businesses efficiently.
You’ll also get the chance to do Functional Skills, though you might not have to if you already have good GCSE grades for Maths and English.
In order to do an intermediate apprenticeship you must have an employer to support you. We have a number of vacancies available every week and are able to help you find an employer though our free recruitment service.
We will assess your practical skills and observe you at work. A personal assessor will visit you in your workplace to review your progress and make sure you are on target to get your qualifications.
