If you prefer to stay in your own corner of the world and are not open to new cultures, don't read on ... if you can answer yes to any of these, French is for you: * Do you want to travel? * Are you interested in different cultures? * Would you like to work abroad? * Do you want a transferable skill that is valued by employers in a variety of fields? Course Details/Outline: AS Level * In-depth study of the French Language and grammar * Topic work including travel and tourism, sports, leisure, and the concerns of young people * Conversation classes with a French native speaker * Weekend trip to Paris A2 level * Continue to study language and grammar in more detail * Topic work including media, politics, environment, and working in French speaking countries * Conversation classes with a native speaker * French literature which could include plays or novels by a variety of authors * French speaking film * Visits to see French theatre, cinema, and the Institut Francais * A 4 day trip to France
