Performing Arts Extended Diploma at Lytham Sixth Form College

Course description

Designed to produce fully rounded and confident performers, this comprehensive course encourages individual creativity across a wide range of performance genres. Students will learn the fundamental techniques of acting, singing and dance through a series of assignments which start with scene and character studies and eventually lead to full-scale productions at our dedicated theatre and external venues such as The Grand Theatre and the Tower Ballroom. Most of our students progress to drama school or specialist university courses, including local degrees in Musical Theatre and Acting, whilst others launch their career straight away by moving directly into stage, TV or film work.
