Course description

The course will give you an excellent understanding of business practice and an insight into law. It is a vocational course which means it is based on practical content and real experiences of the business world. You will study topics which are suitable for any business career like finance, marketing and human resources but alongside these you will also study specialist law units. Topics include employment law, contract and business law, human rights and civil liberty.

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above including both maths and English language alternatively you may hold a level 2 diploma with a merit grade or above.

Assessment

Assessment is through coursework. This will include class assessments, written reports, presentations, visual displays and role play.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the course will allow you to apply for employment in almost any sector or apply to go to university for courses such as Law, Business & Management, Business & Law.
