Citizenship at The Frances Bardsley School for Girls

Course description

Themes includes Human Rights; Power, Politics and the Media; The Global Village All themes will require students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of events of current interest and to relate the subject content to individual, local, national and global contexts. Students will be required to explain and interpret different kinds of information including from the media, in order to demonstrate their ability to form and express an opinion in writing and to demonstrate their ability to analyse and present evidence on a variety of issues, problems and events.
