Performing Arts Level 3 Vocational at Worcester Sixth Form College

Course description

This course offers you the chance to develop your skills as a performer in music, dance and drama to create your own work and perform to large audiences. You will also learn about the performing arts industry and professional practice and is an excellant grounding for anyone who is interested in making performance a career.

Course content

  • Most of the class work is practical
  • Involves group work and solo work
  • Lots of opportunity to perform
  • Study of a wide range of music, dance and drama

Rehearsal time outside of lessons.

Assessment

100% coursework in the form of logbooks and reports.

Future opportunities

Many students go onto study Performing Arts at degree level or attend a Drama School. Other openings are careers in PR and Personnel as well as in the performing arts industry itself.
