Travel and Tourism Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma at Lincoln College

Course description

If you want to pursue a career in the travel and tourism industry then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to progress through the levels of travel and tourism to a high standard.
Successful completion of this course will provide you with the opportunity to work in Tourism in the UK or overseas and is a recognised qualification for University entry.
During this course you will explore theoretically and practically the following topics at an appropriate level to begin working within the industry: Visitor Attractions; The Business of Tourism; Customer Service in Travel and Tourism; Long Haul Travel Destinations.


Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs to include Mathematics and English Language (minimum grade C). You must demonstrate an interest in travel. You will be required to attend an interview and provide a reference (from an employer or recent school/college report). Mature students must sit an entry test.


Assessment is assignment based.
