Course description

This course will appeal to anyone who thrives on developing practical and technical skills alongside a balanced emphasis on theoretical or academic achievement.

If you do not have GCSE Maths at grade A*-C, you will also develop your skills in maths. This will support your main programme of study, future progression and life skills.

Entry requirements

You will need to have passed each of your units in Year 1 to progress to the second year of the Extended Diploma.


You will be assessed 100% on coursework, presented in the form of portfolios and written essays.

Learners studying maths will be assessed through a controlled assessment or final exam.

Future opportunities

Upon successful completion of the programme, you can progress to a suitable course of study in higher education or go straight into the workplace in the action-packed TV and film industry.
