English Language at Rainhill Sixth Form
Are you interested in why certain people speak the way they do? Have you ever noticed how men and women speak differently? Do you know what makes a good communicator? Are you sure you know your nouns from your verbs? If you would like to explore these questions and are eager to find out more, then this course should be on your list of A Level considerations if you have achieved a grade C or higher at GCSE. However, like many A Level subjects, English Language A Level is nothing like its GCSE counterpart. It is challenging at times and analysis is a major part of the course and you will encounter countless texts of countless different genres and subjects - and not only written data either. This is a very useful A Level to have in your academic portfolio and offers you a vast list of university courses and employment opportunities.
