Computing Level 1 at Craven College

Course description

Get to grips with a variety of ICT skills to prepare you for work in Administration, Marketing, Sales, Research and Development, Accounting or technical roles, or further study.

This qualification gives you a good grounding in any discipline because the skills you gain in computer use and applications can be used in any field of study and at any level. If you want to go straight into work then you will have the application skills and specialist knowledge to work in administration, marketing, sales, research and development, accounting or technical roles. You will study a variety of units which are mostly assessed as you evidence your competence in the relevant skills. there will be one multiple choice exam. If you want to go on to further study then you can progress to the Computing Level 2 course at Craven College.

  • 4 GCSEs 9-1 (A*-G) including English & Maths
