Logistics Operations Level 3 at TIR Training Services

Course description

This Apprenticeship is suitable for people who are in administrative roles and supervisory roles within the logistics sector. It has been designed to support those involved with distributive operations such as dealing with the handling and storing of goods within a commercial, industrial or remover’s warehouse, or freight facility, movement of goods, customer service and stock control.

Course content

To achieve this qualification, learners must complete 5 mandatory units and a selection of optional units. Below is an example of the mandatory and optional groups Mandatory group: •Health, safety and security at work •Optimise the use of logistics resources •Make an effective contribution to a business in the logistics sector Optional group: •Improve performance in logistics operations •Provide leadership for your team in logistics •Maintain the safety and security of hazardous goods and materials in logistics operations •Supervise the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods •Arrange the transportation of goods using multiple transport modes •Schedule logistics operations to meet customers requirements •Contribute to the provision of customer service in logistics operations •Respond to problems in logistics operations.
