Advanced GCE in Religious Studies at Cockermouth School

Course description

The course is divided into two parts - The Philosophy of Religion and Religious Ethics. This is an exciting and thought provoking course which challenges students to question the nature of realtiy and truth, and to examine the ethics of many relevant and stimulating moral dilemmas. To many of the questions posed there are no certain answers, rather there are many answers that have been given which can be studied, analysed and evaluted. An open and tolerant mind is required.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs (A*-C) for entry into Sixth Form. AS RS to do A2.
