Customer Service Advanced Apprenticeship

You wil acquire the skills needed to manage and improve customer service in a variety of industries, within a supervisory role.

  • Fortnightly visits to your employer from an Assessor to support you through vocational training.  
  • QCF Diploma in Customer Service level 3
  • Technical Certificate in Customer Service level 3 
  • Functional Skills Level 2 Mathmatics  
  • Functional Skills Level 2 English  
  • ERR Workbook

This course is suitable for Individuals who have already achieved a level 2 in Customer service or have ideally Managerial/Supervisory experience with dealing directly with customers. However this is not essential as support can be given in the workplace by an Assessor who will visit you every two weeks carry out observations and support you in compiling a portfolio of evidence.

Course content

Activities for this role include general office tasks such as data support, filing and retrieving information, organisation of mail and diary systems, monitoring and distribution of stationery supplies, the use of administration equipment and IT applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software & database)

Learners will also need to demonstrate full understanding of all company procedures for employment rights, health and safety and equality and diversity.

Within this diploma there are a number of ‘knowledge based’ units where the learner is required to develop their understanding of business systems and processes – this will require them to receive off the job  coaching in these subjects to fulfil all the necessary criteria and develop these 

Entry requirements

Customer Service QCF Level 2 or equivalent.

GCSE A* - C English and Maths


Initial interview (Every Tuesday 10am - 1pm)

Apprenticeship wage:

16- 18yrs old: £2.73 per hour

19+ £2.73 (1st year of apprenticeship)

19+ £5.13 (2nd year of apprenticeship)

21-23yrsold: £6.50 (second year of apprenticeship

Progress onto a Foundation Degree. Supervisory or management role within work
