Construction (Trowel Occupations) - Apprenticeship at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire)

Course description

The Intermediate Apprenticeship covers areas such as health and safety, building methods, interpreting drawings, building solid and cavity walls plus cladding. As a result, you will expand and develop your foundation knowledge and skills in brickwork. At Advanced level, you will develop your knowledge and skills in brickwork further by learning how to erect, repair and maintain complex masonry structures.

Entry requirements

All potential Apprentices will benefit from average to good GCSE grades, D, C, B & A. Support is given to all future apprentices who have not got the required grades of maths and English for the framework. The functional skills delivery is both group delivery and one to one depending on the level of support required.
