Outdoor Adventure Sport - Level 2 at Askham Bryan College

Course description

The Outdoor Adventure study programme offers the opportunity to develop skills you will need for employment or further study.  Learners will develop knowledge and understanding through classrooom sessions which will set the foundation for skills development during the practical sessions; including focusing on personal skills, leadership skills and reviewing skills. 

Course content

This Level 2 study programme gives learners the chance to seek progression to employment, further study or voluntary opportunities. The programme covers leadership skills, motivation, time management, team work and the chance to improve individual fitness.

Entry requirements

Level 2 Study Programmes:

Usually at least 4 GCSEs at grade 3 (old GCSE grade D) or above to include two from Maths, English and Science with at least a grade 2 (old GCSE grade E) in the remaining subject.
