Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) Level 2 Diploma at Buxton & Leek College

Course description

If you’re working in health or social care, this work based qualification is ideal for you. You’ll develop the knowledge and skills to help you in your role. It’s a flexible course with lots of support from your tutor, classroom based or on a one to one basis.

Before you start this course, you’ll need to be already working in health or social care, in a job that gives you a wide range of experience and opportunities to work both on your own and as part of a team.

You’ll build up a portfolio of evidence with the help of your tutor and you’ll be assessed throughout the course in your workplace in several ways, including direct observations, professional discussions and witness testimony.
