Customer Service Apprenticeship - Level 2 at Redcar & Cleveland College

Course description

This Apprenticeship provides evidence of competence of undertaking a customer service role and involves a diverse range of functions, tasks and activities that are constantly developing and changing.

Apprenticeship Framework comprises:

  • Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service.
  • EDI Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service.
  • Key Skills/Functional Skills.

Mandatory units for NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service are:

  • Communicate using customer service language.
  • Follow the rules to deliver customer service.

Further credits must be achieved from a range of optional units.

Mandatory units for EDI Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service are:

  • Delivery of effective customer service.
  • Supporting the customer service environment.

Future opportunities

On successful completion of the L2 Intermediate Apprenticeship, the Apprentice can progress onto the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service. This will be dependent upon the job role and level of responsibility meeting the requirements of the NVQ qualification.

With additional training, Intermediate Apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to roles including Customer Relationship Manager, Customer Service Executive Officer, Customer Service Delivery Co-ordinator, Customer Service Team Leader, Customer Service Supervisors and Managers, Senior Customer Service Advisers or a wide range of other Customer Service related roles.
