ICT at The Cooper School

Course description

This course is designed to develop a broad range of ICT skills. It also develops a detailed knowledge and understanding of the components, functions and applications of information systems as well as the main principles and skills of solving problems with ICT.

Throughout the course students develop all the necessary skills required in ICT and apply these within work related contexts. It also gives an understanding of the impact of information systems on organisations’ personnel policies and practices. It also develops project management skills.

Entry requirements

GCSE / Applied ICT would be beneficial
