Sociology at Denbigh School

Course description

You would be suitable for this course if you have a lively interest in the world around you, current affairs, how people’s lives are affected by the social group to which they belong (such as their gender, class or ethnicity), the actions of various institutions in society and whether we have true personal freedom.

You like to debate but are also able to research meticulously, understand statistics and prepare well argued essays.,p>Modules include

  • Families and Households
  • Education; Research Methods

  • Entry requirements

    You need to have good GCSE grades in at least one Humanities subject and be able to learn and remember lots of studies and theories.

    GCSE 5 A*-C including English and Mathematics
