Health and Social Care Cambridge Technical at Thomas Adams School
This subject is a study of some of the key features met with when working with people in a health and social care setting, for example a hospital or residential home. You will look at case histories, research, take part in role plays and discuss many complex and sensitive issues.
A wide range of activities will be encountered. A willingness to talk in front of others will be highly beneficial. Written reports, research, discussion and role play are all used within the course.
5 GCSEs at C grade or above including a good standard of written English and a keen interest in how health care works, including some of the theories supporting it.
