Law A-Level at The Warren School

Course description

The study of Law at A-level enables students to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills. Studying Law develops students’ problem solving skills through the application of legal rules, together with an understanding of legal method and reasoning. These skills provide excellent preparation for those students who wish to progress to degree level study or pursue a wide range of careers.

Entry requirements

All students need 5 A*-Cs including a B grade at English Literature


This course is assessed entirely through examination in May/June. AS and A2 Students will be assessed via 2 written papers at the end of each year.

Future opportunities

If you are thinking of taking a Law degree then you will be best advised to take Law alongside English Language and Literature and History. Law A Level can lead to a career in law as well as being a well respected A Level to support you in your path to university.
