Course content

Units include Live Music Performance, Getting Work in Music, Composing Music (Collaborative), Composing Lyrics, Sound Reinforcement, Music Promotion and Music Sequencing and Production,

This qualification has been designed to provide a vocationally relevant course in popular music aimed at beginners through to semi-professionals, which allows for both direct progression into the industry and/or progression to a higher level of study. It focuses on the recognition of achievement through practical musical skills, business skills and music technology skills.

Entry requirements

Minimum BTEC Music Level 2 Pass or GCSE Music grade C or above.
