Intermediate Apprenticeship for ICT Professionals at SBC Training

Course description

This course is for people who would like to develop skills that will enable them to provide ICT support to internal or external customers in any working environment. Learners need to have the opportunity to be able to provide support/develop IT network services.

Course content

Knowledge Based – Level 2 Certificate in ICT Systems support

This qualification provides in-depth knowledge and skills to enable the installation and configuration of ICT equipment and operating systems.

Competence Based - Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence This qualification helps to put knowledge and skills into practice to support effective workplace productivity.

Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT will be integrated into the programme to provide support to ensure that the skillset is at the appropriate level to take the job forward.

‘e-skills’ employment rights and responsibilities assessment

Completion of the workbook will enhance learner’s knowledge and understanding of Employment Law, Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, roles and responsibilities.

Further information

Following enrolment, learners engage in a blended programme of training and support that will include attendance at group training sessions on a day release basis, webinars, self-directed learning and face to face support from their personal tutor. It is essential that learners have access to a computer and the internet via a broadband connection.
