Community Sports Leaders Award at Lincoln Christ's Hospital School

Course description

The prime aim of the CSLA is to produce responsible, motivated, organised and confident people who can lead safe, purposeful and enjoyable sporting and recreational activities.

It is designed to encourage young people to get involved in organising and assisting with the provision of sport. As such it concentrates on improving the leadership skills required to plan, prepare and deliver a sports session.

The course syllabus is divided into eight units of work spread over the academic yea, includingr:

  • Organisational Skills
  • Know Your Friends
  • Events and Competitions
  • Games and Activity Experience

  • Entry requirements
