'Psychology is a popular and diverse science, investigating an enormous range of behaviours and mental processes, including cognitive, social, developmental and abnormal psychology. There is an emphasis on applying knowledge rather than just acquiring knowledge, thereby developing students’ transferable skills of analysis, evaluation and critical thinking. This course is invaluable in giving you an insight into how you and others think, equipping you with communication skills that you can utilise throughout life. If you have an intrinsic interest in human behaviour and ‘how science works’ then Psychology is for you.
