Course description

The study of Modern Languages will help you understand the language in speech and writing and to communicate confidently, as well as inform you about contemporary society and culture of countries studies. Such study can provide a basis for degree level study as well as being satisfying in itself.

You will study aspects of contemporary society through the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will get to know the grammar of the language and will improve your all-round knowledge through our work experience programme.

Entry requirements

Students will need to have gained a GCSE Grade B or above in order to study AS/A2 French, German or Spanish.
