IT - BTEC Level 3 at The Forest Academy

Course description

This course is based on the study and use of computers to develop problem-solving skills through the practical application of IT. This qualification is designed for learners who are interested in an introduction into the study of creating IT systems to manage and share information alongside other fields of study. It is an ideal way to progress to a wide range of higher education courses; not necessarily in IT, as you will study the role of computer systems and the implications of their use in personal and professional situations. You will also design, create, test and evaluate a relational database system to manage information. There are also Units that focus on the creative use of IT, which includes Using Social Media in Business, Data Modelling and Website Development.
