Engineering And Technology (QCF) Level 1 Electrical Certificate at College of North West London (FE)

Course description

This course is suitable for you if you are preparing to seek employment, or are currently employed, in the building services industry (electrical installation, electronics or refrigeration and air conditioning). At Level 1, you will develop the practical skills and learn the associated theory relevant to the industry sector. Our experienced industry professionals will guide you in our fully equipped workshops and help you collect evidence to support your learning.

Course content

You will study one core unit and four optional units from your chosen area. This course is equal to 5 credits per unit or 25 credits in total.

Entry requirements

You will need English and Maths skills at Entry 3/Level 1. If you do not have evidence of your English and Maths levels you will be given an online English and Maths assessment after you submit your application. You may also be asked to complete a piece of free writing or a vocational assessment.

Assessment

You will be assessed through practical skills tests, short written questions.
