Wider Core: Primary Reading at Rawlins Academy

Course description

Student volunteers visit a local primary school for one hour per week to support 3-4 children with their reading on a one-to-one basis. You will need to attend a training session and apply for a CRB check before visiting your choice of school where you will receive induction training before starting work with the children. You could make a real difference by helping primary school children to improve their literacy and ultimately improve their performance in education and society.
