Course content

Studying A Level Physical Education will give you a fantastic insight into the amazing world of sports performance. Not only will you have the chance to perform or coach a sport, through the non-exam assessment component, you will also develop a wide ranging knowledge into the how and why of Physical activity and sport

The combination of physical performance and academic challenge provides and exciting oppportunity for students. You can perform and then through academic study improve your performance or coaching through application of the theory.

Entry requirements

At least a grade B in GCSE  Science and preferably a Grade A in GCSE PE.

Further information


Lessons in The Trinity Sixth Form are taught in two blocks, a morning and an afternoon, with a flexible lunchtime in between. Some students will find that all of their subjects will be taught in the same school, while others may choose subjects taught in another school.

Transport will be provided free during the lunchtime, so you don't have to worry about getting from morning to afternoon classes. Free before and after transport is also available to and from your home school if required.
