Course description

This course is designed to develop your skills and knowledge to enable you to work in the industry of your chosen craft. Units of study include complex shaped joinery products, the set-up of transportable machinery, building materials and construction technology.

Course content

Units include:

  • Principles of organising, planning and pricing construction work
  • Manufacture shaped doors and frames
  • Manufacture stairs with turns

Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery


You will be assessed through workshop-based practical assessments and multiple choice end-of-unit knowledge tests.
