Course description

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and human behaviour. Students examine how behaviour is studied and how psychologists test their hypothesis. The procedures, findings and conclusions of research into different fields of psychology are the main foci of the course. AS Modules – Cognitive and Developmental Psychology and Research Methods – Biological and Social Psychology and Individual Differences A2 Modules – Relationships, Aggression and Gender – Psychopathology, Psychology in Action and Research Methods

Entry requirements

Science GCSE grade A*–B is preferred.
